By Fusionwavestarprism I really enjoyed reading this interesting story about three high school girls and a teacher who try to survive day by day in a dead school forgotten by time surrounded by a Zombie pandemic that was undone on Megurigaoka High school. Throughout the school are shattered windows, Broken desks tipped upside down and eerie noises that fill the darkened hallways at night. You will see two huge doors boarded to keep out evil.Megurigaoka High School has a food store, A garden on the roof and a library. Also the school can be powered by solar panels.Loved all the characters and they are-1. Kurumi- She always has a shovel by her side to protect her friends with and sleeps with it. Her and Yuki even get into a water fight. She's also a strong fighter. Sometimes she has nightmares and loves eating hardtacks. Love her long hair.2. Yuuri- She likes to remind the club of it's rules and knows how to cook. She has a cool hair style.3. Megumi- A very good teacher that the three girls love. She has a ribbon in the back of her hair. She brought out Yuki's cheerfulness in a positive way. In the past Megumi was writing in some kind of journal in her classroom, When you read what she wrote it will really catch your attention. In a strange way Megumi and Yuki are connected somehow.4. Yuki- She likes to wear a black stocking hat that has cat ears and her back pack has white angel wings on the sides. When the group gets low on supplies they go to the school store and Yuki picks up some chocolate, Chips and a bag of balloons, You will love what they do with the balloons. Yuki's cheerfulness makes everyone able to deal with life better and thats what keeps them together.I strongly advise you get this book, You will just love the story along with the artwork. At least three more volumes are planned for release and I really think that this story might go to seven volumes or ten.These books are new but doesn't come factory sealed.Ages 16 and higher can read this.

By Froggirl It was absolutely fantastic, and really had the feel I was expecting after watching the anime. (The anime is my all-time favorite, I recommend it as well.) The humor in it was oddly funny, and I wasn't expecting to laugh this much. It is also dark when it wants to be, with one part of the story in particular standing out as it wasn't in the anime. It also has some nice bonus material, which was quite fun to read. It was quite a fantastic manga, and I look eagerly forward to Volume 2. I highly recommend you give both the manga and anime a shot. If you're worried, watch the ENTIRE first episode, and you'll understand...

The anime was one of the best of the year. KEEP IN MIND: This is the Manga. There is not a light novel. Do not write a review for you mistaking it being a light novel. If you are already familiar with School-Live, this is a must pick up. If you are a fan of Slice of Life and a little bit a zombies thrown in, this is a must pick up.Remember... Yen On = Light Novels. Yen Press = Manga. Now that you know, never write a review for your mistake.

Great political thriller By Amazon Customer Fans of big, larger-than-life political thrillers where the threat is enormous, the conspiracy deep seated, and the need for a hero overwhelming could do worse than get on board with the Dan Taylor series.Book three, THREE LIVES DOWN, could be read as a standalone, although knowing the background to Taylor’s life and work will help with flesh out some of his connections, supporters and enemies. Of course, this is a book that comes straight out of that big threat thriller world, so you will also have to be a fan of huge scenarios, with high stakes games being played in high places - in this case the upper echelons of British government.Set against the backdrop of the tensions over the European Union gives the story not just a timeframe, but also a feeling of how frequently, if it’s going to hit the fan, it comes at you from multiple directions. Of course, when you have a bloke like Dan Taylor on your side, you could be excused for an expectation that the good guys are going to win (battered, bruised and by the skin of their teeth), and the bad guys are going to go down.Whilst much of the focus of the story is on Taylor and his efforts, there are supporting characters who step up when required. Mel, the grumpy and eccentric IT expert ticks all the expected boxes, but she is also determined, and one of those people that gets going when the going gets tough.There’s action aplenty and lots of nicely twisty plot elements. There’s some close scrapes and a lot of charging about. And there’s heaps of entertainment and quite a few subtly funny moments as a bonus. By Grace @ Kindle Bargains.UK Starts with a bang with action from the very first line and never really halts until the last words are read. I love the Dan Taylor series - in fact, have thoroughly enjoyed all of Rachel Amphlett's novels.What an exciting author. I'm not sure whether Rachel has some sort of inside line to what's going on in the UK and the wider world, but her stories are scarily current. Listening to a discussion on fracking on the radio last week, I found myself thinking 'wow, you should read Three Lives Down!' That's how realistic this author's novels are!A truly worthy addition to this series, and I find myself wishing and hoping that there are many more to come. I've been recommending this one to everyone I know, it's THAT good!!!Excellent work, Rachel - you are awesome!I am privileged to have received an arc of this novel, which did not affect my above review in any way whatsoever.

By Amazon Customer I received an advanced reading copy of the latest Dan Taylor thriller, Three Lives Down, and enjoyed every reading minute. The contemporary story line seems very plausible to me and, in addition, is truly scary. Dan and his co-workers, and their assortment of high-tech equipment are fun to read about, interesting and just on the edge of being too good to be true. The places of action are so interesting, I want to know if they are real (I don't want to give anything away by saying too much…). In short, I recommend this book to all readers of this genre.
