By Isacc Avila It's a wonderful read, I'm glad they took the time to translate this side story to English. My only problem is when it was delivered there was a tiny crack on the top of the spine. It's a small blemish on an otherwise excellent product. Packaging was done with care, so I assume I must have just had bad luck with my copy. I recommend any fan of Madoka Magica and French history to read this series, I'm sure other orders will be in mint condition.

0 of 1 people found the following review helpful. It's, uh... By Kimberly Rice I really liked the first volume, but this one gets kind of grueling to read at certain times. It's frequently bogged down by copious amounts of exposition, to the point where a more accurate title would be "A Manga Guide to the French Revolution." It reads more like a documentary than a magical girl story. I found myself not caring much for the historical fiction aspects of the story, instead getting more excited by the reemergence of magical girl elements toward the end of the volume - one of the villains has a very interesting power that I hope to see more of in the next volume. Pretty much the biggest reason I can give you to get this volume is for the absolutely gorgeous artwork.
