It's hard to summarize without spoilers but suffice to say Mark must deal with the shocking betrayal from the last book and perhaps his greatest challenge yet... fatherhood.After reviewing 10 'ultimate' volumes it's hard to come up with more superlatives for this series. It is unpredictable, it balances comic book-standards with some realistic plot points and it's willing to let characters go once they have filled their role. It's my favorite superhero book of the 2000s and now the 2010s as well.The best praise I can come up with is that I'm looking to sharply cut my book collection, getting rid of almost half of it. But Invincible will be staying and I'll be buying more.Another sign of how good it is, once I got it I read the whole book in one sitting. Then I took vol 9 down and reread that. I can't think of any other series where I do that.So yeah, buy this, buy the whole series. If you like superheroes you'll love this.

By Adam Philpott This chapter of the Invincible saga takes some very unexpected, and at times dark, turns. The series is as incredible as ever and this installment is a must read. If you're this far into it, you know you're going to anyway!

By Cassman This series continues to impress and these collections are the best way to take it all in whether you are a casual fan or a collector. The art is amazing and the extras are nice but the real meat and potatoes is the rich and involving ongoing story. Yet another entry in what may be the best comic currently on the market and in my opinion the best way to collect it.
